HADASSAH CHAPTER INSTALLS PRESIDENT, OFFICERS AT S.L. TEA

An installation tea for the Salt Lake City Chapter of Hadassah, the Women's Zionist Organization of America, was held recently at the Michael and Dixie Schafir home.

Installed as president was Joy Erickson. She will be assisted by Terrie Pepper, vice president of programming; Jean Rafaelof, vice president of education, and Chris McGillis, vice president of membership.Other officers are Berenice Engleberg, corresponding secretary; Susan Bachman, financial secretary; Audrey Haight, recording secretary, and Lucille Ozer, treasurer.

Presiding officer was Sonia Cohne, immediate past president.

Pearl Mednick conducted the installation ceremony.

Assisting with the event were Frances Sapitsky and Dorothy Feiler, refreshment committee members.

Hadassah's primary purpose is the raising of funds for humanitarian causes in Israel. The group's chief project is providing money for the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center of Israel. The center is a non-sectarian hospital and training center.

Hadassah has 385,000 members nationwide.
