SERVICES ARE HELD FOR EX-SOUTH COACH

A funeral was held Tuesday for a Wasatch County man killed Saturday when a heavy wooden beam fell on him.

C. William Dudley, 62, a former teacher and coach at South High School, was crushed about 2 p.m. Saturday while doing construction work on his Woodland farm. He was flown to a Salt Lake City hospital were he was pronounced dead about an hour later.While principal of Wasatch Middle School, he received a national award for excellence in education and his school was identified as a national model. He was also president and state coordinator for the Utah Association of Secondary School Principals.
