The State Board of Regents will accept nominations and applications until June 21 for a successor to Steven D. Bennion, president of Snow College.
A 19-member search committee has been appointed to screen the candidates and recommend five or six to the full Board of Regents, who will interview the candidates and name the new president.The committee is led by Steven E. Snow, regent vice chairman. Other members include regents, Snow College Institutional Council members, alumni, students, faculty, staff and community members.
Bennion will leave Snow July 1 to become president of Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho. Located in Ephraim, Snow is a comprehensive community college of 1,300.
