The public is invited to observe paleontologists from Brigham Young University as they dig at the Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry, located 35 miles south of Price, beginning June 5.

The paleontologists will spend three weeks digging at the quarry. Ken Stadtman, assistant curator at the quarry, said the public is invited to observe the dig on June 5, 8, 9, 12, 15, 16, 19, 22 and 23, and all weekdays that the quarry visitor center is open. The building opens for the summer on May 27 and is open from Thursday to Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., however no digging is scheduled on the weekends.Directions to the quarry can be obtained from the College of Eastern Utah Prehistoric Museum and the Bureau of Land Management in Price or from the Emery County Museum in Castle Dale.
