SERVICES SET WEDNESDAY FOR EX-COUNSEL TO U.S. SMELTING

Funeral services for Raymond Brimhall Holbrook, counsel to U.S. Smelting, Refining and Mining Co. for more than 30 years, will be held at noon May 31 in the Douglas Ward chapel, 721 S. 12th East.

Mr. Holbrook, 87, died May 24, 1989.He served as Provo city attorney from 1931 to 1938 and was an officer in the American Bar Association and chairman of the Public Lands Committee for the American Mining Congress and Utah Mining Association.

He was on the Sunday School General Board of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 12 years.

Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Provo City Cemetery.
