Utah Crime Solvers is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of the bandit who robbed a West Jordan convenience store at gunpoint March 20 about 4 a.m.

A man entered the Circle K at 1680 W. 78th South and said he was looking for a video to rent. He went to the rear of the store and when he returned to the front, he pulled an AK-47 assault rifle from his coat.The bandit forced the clerk to go to the back of the store while he stole the contents of the cash register.

The cashier described the bandit as Native American, 25 to 30 years old, about 5 feet 10 inches tall, with long black hair.

Up to $1,000 is being offered for information about the robbery. Anyone with such information is asked to call 964-2255 or 1-800-972-2255.
