A Deseret News/KSL-TV poll conducted on May 2-3 of 614 Utahns shows most believed U.S. House Speaker Jim Wright should resign.

Thirty-four percent said Wright should definitely resign, 21 percent said he should probably go, 12 percent said he probably should not resign, 7 percent said he definitely should not and 25 percent didn't know.Fifty-eight percent of the Republicans in the survey thought Wright should resign, but so did 52 percent of the Democrats. Fifty-nine percent of the independents said Wright should resign.
