SHARE SEX-BIAS SUIT SETTLED

Metro Oil Products Inc. has agreed to pay a total of $10,000 to two female former employees in settlement of their sexual harassment claims.

The Phoenix office of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission had filed a complaint in U.S. District Court for Utah on behalf of the women, who said they had to resign because of harassment at the company's Price facility.Under terms of a consent decree, Metro Oil will pay the women a total of $10,000, train its management officials and employees on what constitutes sexual harassment and how to prevent it and institute a grievance procedure.

The decree permanently enjoins the company from engaging in any sex discrimination, including sexual harassment. The duration of the decree is 36 months.
