SHARE FRANKLIN D. HATCH DIES AT 88

Franklin Davis Hatch, a lifelong resident and former city councilman of West Bountiful, died June 20, 1989. He was 88.

Born Aug. 8, 1900, in West Bountiful to Ella V. and Isaac Hatch, he married Edith A. Robinson June 13, 1931. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Mr. Hatch worked as a farmer and as a guard at Hill Air Force Base during World War II. He was the first city marshal and watermaster for West Bountiful City and served as supervisor of streets. He served as a city councilman for four years.

He was a member of the high priest quorum of the West Bountiful 1st Ward.

Funeral will be at noon Friday, June 23, 1989, in the West Bountiful 1st Ward chapel, 311 N. Eighth West. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main, Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., and Friday one hour prior to services. Interment will be at the Bountiful City Cemetery.
