Flag-pole raising, walking Moon Monsters and slippery tug of war are some of the numerous training games Boy Scouts practice to prepare for competition at the National Boy Scout Jamboree Aug. 2-8 in Virginia. The Utah National Parks Council, which includes all troops south of Point of the Mountain to the Arizona border, recently held a three-day camp to show the more than 320 Scouters what to expect when they get to the Jamboree.
