While temperatures hit the high 90s, the oozing black material they work with hits the 260- to 350-degree range. Temperatures Saturday and Sunday are expected to reach the mid-90s in the Salt Lake area and northern Utah. There is a chance of thunderstorms over the weekend throughout the state.
