Westminster College has appointed two new administrators.
Ray W. Ownbey, the chairman of the English and Communication Program, was named dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at the private college. Margot C. Kadesch, dean of the Center for Professional Development, was appointed assistant vice president for academic affairs.Before joining the Westminster faculty in 1983, Ownbey was senior technical editor at Morton Thiokol. He previously taught at the University of Maine, where he was chairman of the humanities division, and at the University of Hawaii.
Kadesch came to Westminster in 1976 as an instructor of English as a second language. She developed the college's international student program.
