G. Zahnor Edwards died suddenly at his St. George residence, January 3, 1990.

He was born February 19, 1903 in Mercur, Utah to G. Z. and Mattie Ford Edwards. He married Ruth Price, who preceded him in death in 1938. He married Edythe Bramley in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, December 23, 1939. Mr. Edwards worked for the Salt Lake Board of Education. At the time of his death he was the chairman of the board of Kedman Co. He was past master of Kaibab Lodge. He was a 32nd degree mason in the Scottish Rite, and shriner in El Kalah Temple in Salt Lake City. Member of the St. George Elks Lodge. He and his wife have been residents of St. George since 1973.

Surviving family members include: his wife of St. George; three sons, Michael, Robert and David and their wives, all Salt Lake City; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and his loving brother, David K. Edwards of Salt Lake City. He meant so much to so many, we will miss him very much.
