Brad Lohaus, whom the Milwaukee Bucks acquired from Minnesota in a trade last Thursday for Randy Breuer, has a small cartilage tear in his left knee, a physical examination revealed.
A Bucks spokesman said Saturday night the Timberwolves were aware of Lohaus' condition but did not reveal it before the trade.Lohaus will dress for Saturday night's game with the Chicago Bulls and has been practicing with the Bucks since Thursday, although the knee stiffened up during one workout. The injury is not considered a serious one.
Bucks spokesman Bill King said that because of Lohaus' condition, an original clause in the trade has been amended.
If Lohaus' injury should require arthroscopic surgery this season or in the playoffs, the Bucks would receive the right to Philadelphia's second-round draft pick in either the 1991 or 1992 draft.
That pick is currently held by Minnesota as part of a trade that sent Rick Mahorn to the 76ers.
