BYU athletic director Glen Tuckett will receive the 29th Annual Lefty Gomez Award Saturday in San Francisco, Calif., at the convention for the American Association of College Baseball Coaches. The Gomez Award is annually given to the person who has contributed most to amateur baseball. Tuckett was BYU's baseball coach for 17 years from 1950-76 and established a 498-251 (.665) win-loss record.
