Nick John Kochonis passed away September 29, 1990 at St. Marks Hospital.
He was born in Salt Lake City to John Kochonis and Helen Papanikolas Kochonis. He graduated from LDS Business College and the University of Utah with a BS. He was a business man in Magna and owned Rock Springs Market. He was a longterm resident in Magna. He was a member of Christopher Diehl Masonic Lodge, and was a shriner. Member of the Magna VFW and DAV.Survivors include sisters, Mrs. Darrell (Donna) Swenson, Holladay; Mrs. James (Hiran) Bavelas, Salt Lake City; nephew, Perry Kochonis Swenson, Idaho Falls, Idaho. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Ernest.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 1990 at 12 noon, at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, 279 South 300 West. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at MacKay Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
