Cleeo Datell Wright, family man, wool grower, and lifetime resident of Millcreek, Utah, died peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, October 10, 1990 at the age of 97.

Born September 9, 1893 in Millcreek to Joseph Alma and Kindness Ann Badger Wright. Grew up in Old Millcreek Ward, and was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of his life. Filled an LDS Mission to New Zealand, 1916-20. Was an High Priest. Married Mary Hill Musser in the Salt Lake LDS Temple October 18, 1922. They were the parents of 15 children, 130 grandchildren, 225 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary and son, Cleeo Mark.Survived by 14 children, Gordon Lowell, Draper; Norman Edgar, Pleasant Grove; Paul LeMar, Salt Lake City; Earl Eugene, Provo; Mrs. Merlyn P. (Rosemary) Jones, Meridian, Idaho; Ivan Cleeo, Salt Lake City; Tracy Dean, Mapleton; Mrs. Reid L. (Doreen) Tams, Paradise; Mrs. Terah L. (Joye) Billings, Holladay; Mrs. William C. (Jeannine) Cahoon, Woods Cross; Chadwin Spencer, Salem; Joseph Wayne (Lucky), Conrad Noel, both Draper; David Gail, Bountiful.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 13, 12 noon, in the Millcreek Stake Center, 420 East 4200 South. Friends may call Friday, 6-8 p.m. at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, and Saturday, one hour prior to services at the church. Interment, Elysian Burial Gardens. Family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the LDS Missionary Fund.
