Utah entrepreneur James L. Sorenson, who started Sorenson Research and recently was listed as the wealthiest Utahn by Forbes, will open a new company Friday at noon with the help of Gov. Norm Bangerter.
The grand opening ceremony for the 55,000 square-foot Sorex Inc., 5725 Harold Gatty Road, will be followed by tours of the clean room, computer control room and large volume sterilizing chambers.Sorex will provide contract sterilization and custom medical kit packaging for national markets and also will be a place for research and development. The company expects to have 100 employees by next year.
