President Ezra Taft Benson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints may be released from LDS Hospital Wednesday.

The 91-year-old church leader, who has been in the hospital since Sept. 13 to remove blood clots from the brain and for later treatment of gastrointestinal bleeding, was in satisfactory condition Tuesday, a church spokesman said.In a talk Tuesday at Brigham Young University, President Gordon B. Hinckley, first counselor in the church's First Presidency, said President Benson was "much better than he's been, and it is anticipated that he may come home tomorrow (Wednesday).
