The Center for Science in the Public Interest, a consumer advocacy group based in Washington, has just published the "Healthwise Quantity Cookbook" by Stephanie Turner and Vivienne Aronowitz ($29.95).

All the recipes feed 50 people and are low in fat, calories, sodium and added sugar. Among the 206 recipes: Cajun Beans and Rice, Five-Spice Chicken and Heavenly Brownies.The book is intended mostly for the food-service industry, but consumers who need to cook for a crowd may also find it useful.
