Wilma M. Cook, age 87, died Sept. 30, 1990, at her home in Taylorsville.

Born July 16, 1903, in Taylorsville, Utah, a daughter of Chester and Mary Ann Mantle Cook. Received a Golden Gleaner Award, and served for many years as Junior Sunday School Coordinator in the old Taylorsville Ward. Was a graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in education. Taught at Garfield, Plymouth, and Granger Elementary Schools for a total of 45 years of service in the Granite School District.Survived by: Two nephews, Gary (and wife, Irene) Swensen, Val Swensen; great nephews and nieces, Gordon, Jason, Matthew, Christopher, Erik, Emily, Shane, Brett.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, 12 noon, at the Taylorsville Stake Center, 1399 West 4800 South. Friends may call at the McDougal Golden Rule Funeral home, 4330 So. Redwood Road, Wednesday, 6 to 8 p.m., and Thursday, at church, one hour prior to service. Interment, Taylorsville, Memorial Park.
