Charles Gordon Hatch, age 57, died October 19, 1990, in Salt Lake City.

Charlie was born August 14, 1933, in Woods Cross, Utah to Wilford Woodruff and Reta Sessions Hatch. He married Leone Oyler in 1958; they were later divorced. He married Bonnie Beeler in 1972; later divorced. He recently married Judie Hildebrand on June 19, 1990.Charlie graduated from Davis High School and attended Utah State University, where he was active in football. After serving in the U.S. Army, he went on to play professional football for Detroit and the Saskatchewan Rough Riders in the Canadian Football League.

Charlie loved fishing, camping, traveling, and most of all he loved sports, especially football.

Survived by: his wife, Judie; and three daughters, Mrs. Aaron (Mechelle) Roundy, Fruit Heights, Utah; Mrs. Brad (Melane) Page, Layton, Utah; Mrs. Keith (Camille) Oman, Snowville, Utah; four sons, Charles Bradley Hatch and his wife, Jill, Layton, Utah; Brian L. Hatch, Los Angeles, California; Brent Wilford Hatch, and Carter Gordon Hatch and his wife, Jody, all Kaysville, Utah; nine grandchildren, Rachel and Amy Roundy, Heather Hayley and Harmony Hatch; Lindsey and Wacey Oman; Spencer and Natalie Hatch, and eight stepchildren. He was also survived by: four sisters, Mrs. Boyd (Mary) Jorgenson, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Robert (Betty) Bacon, Hillsboro, Calif.; Mrs. Virgil (Kathryn) Klaveano, Clarkston, Wash.; Mrs. LaVar (Sharon) Lords, Kaysville, Utah; brother, Byron Hatch, and his wife, Francis, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by father and mother, three sisters, Jean Hatch; Jayne Hatch Lee and Nadine Hatch Mitchell and one brother, Donald Wilford Hatch.

Viewing for the family and friends will be held Sunday evening, October 21, 1990, at the Mackay Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, from 6 to 8 p.m. By Charlie's request, his body will be cremated and his remains will be buried in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
