Verda Seamons Balls, 83, loving wife and mother, life long resident of Hyde Park, passed away Thursday, October 18, 1990 in Logan.
She was born July 11, 1907 in Mound Valley, Idaho, daughter of Henry Hurren and Maria Ann Bennett Seamons. She married Lew Alma Balls May 13, 1931 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died October 18, 1960.Survived by two children, daughter Jackie and husband Robert Blamires, Fairfax, Virginia; son LewDell and wife Denae Balls, Hyde Park; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Rhoda McDermaid, Logan; Wanda Rich, Boise, Idaho; Bonnie Allen, Hyrum; Naomi Fackrell, Preston, Idaho; three brothers, Delbert Seamons, Mink Creek, Idaho; Weldon Seamons, Boise, Idaho; Homer Seamons, Orem. Preceded in death by daughter, Peggy Ann; and three brothers, Melvin, Howard, and Orson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 12 noon, in the Hyde Park Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Allen-Hall Mortuary in Logan, Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday at the ward, 10:30-11:30 a.m. Burial in the Hyde Park City Cemetery.
