Mansell and Associates posted a 36 percent rise in sales during the first six months of this year, the real estate company reports.

Al Mansell, president, said the six Wasatch Front offices of Mansell had combined sales in the first half of $92.4 million, up 36.2 percent from the $65.6 million in sales for the same period a year ago.Mansell's Union Park office led the increase with sales up 61.4 percent to $48.7 million for the first six months. The Union Park and Benchmark offices in Salt Lake City combined for a 43 percent rise in business during the first half for a total of $58.4 million.

Mansell said the figures were particularly significant because the Salt Lake Board of Realtors posted a lesser gain of 25 percent.

The Ogden Mansell office produced $12.8 million in sales, a 12.9 percent increase, and the Utah County office in Orem saw a 44.8 percent increase to $16.5 million.

The Tooele office was up 3 percent to $3.97 million. The Price office, not in operation last year, accounted for .23 percent of Mansell's total first-half sales.
