Shari Ann Peters Folker Kidder, age 44, our beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, died October 21, 1990 in a Salt Lake hospital.

She was born August 28, 1946 in Fillmore, Utah to Charles W. and Zelma E. Goulter Peters. Shari married Ralph J. Folker, Jr. on July 16, 1961; divorced in 1971. Married Tony Edward Kidder on March 2, 1984; divorced in 1986. She was employed by Ammoco Transmissions and was a nurse's aide at Holy Cross Hospital Salt Lake City. She was an outdoors person, enjoying the mountains, hunting and fishing and took great pride in having taught her boys to hunt and fish. She served as a team mother for her son's little league baseball teams. Her life was full of friends and she enjoyed the status of # 1 Grandma. She was always a second mother to her only brother and to her nephew, Shane. Shari will be missed by her relatives and special friends.Survivors: sons, Bill Folker and his wife, Connie; David Eugene Folker, all West Valley City; grandson, Shawn J. Folker; mother and stepfather, Zelma E. and Dean Gardner, Enterprise, Utah; father, Charles W. Peters, Murray; mother-in-law, Jerri Folker, Kearns; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Betty and Edward Kidder, Kearns; sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Tom Kidder, Colstrip, Montana; brother and sister-in-law, Glenn and Kathy Peters, Magna. Preceded in death by stepfather, Rune E. Martinson; father-in-law, Ralph J. Folker.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 1990 at 1:00 P.M. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel, 8090 So. State, where friends may call Tuesday 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
