A "very rare" gold-accented 1990 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL valued at $92,000 was stolen last week from a dealer's lot at 575 S. State, according to a Salt Lake police report.

The vehicle, owned by Smith Management Corp., had been left with Ken Garff Motors for servicing Oct. 15 and was discovered missing the following day, police said.A witness told investigators that he saw the Mercedes-Benz leave the lot and stop at 500 S. State. A blond woman entered the car at the intersection, he said.

The vehicle is described as desert taupe metallic with a beige leather interior, chrome wheels and gold accent metals.
