Range reseeding will begin Tuesday in areas of Wasatch Mountain State Park charred in August by a 3,000-acre wildfire, Soil Conservation Service officials said Monday.

The reseeding and other erosion-control projects will encompass 2,400 acres of the park, said ranger conservationist Mark Petersen."A lot of this area is critical deer winter range," Petersen said, "so we'll be restoring that as well as the watershed."
