Richard J. Goode, a certified public accountant and managing partner in the Salt Lake office of Coopers and Lybrand, has been chosen president-elect of the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy and will guide the organization in 1991-92.

Goode has been chairman of the Utah State Board of Accountancy and has served as vice president, director-at-large and mountain regional director of NASBA'as board of directors.He is a member of the Utah Association of CPAs, the American Accountants Association, the American Institute of CPAs.

NASBA coordinates the activities of the country's state boards of accountancy, which administer the uniform CPA examination, license certified public accountants and regulate the practice of public accountancy in the U.S.
