Kilo International, a manufacturer of dials, knobs and carburetor parts used in high-tech instrumentation, has moved its headquarters and production facilities from LaVerne, Calif., to Provo.

The 34-year-old company is in the process of equipping the new 10,600-square-foot plant at 1952 Billings Ave. and will begin operations soon with a staff of 15-20 workers. Principals Jim and Debbie Davis said the quality of life available in Utah and expansion opportunities provided by the state were key factors in the decision to relocate.Kilo produces potentiometers, dials, knobs and parts that accurately count turns. These products are used in a variety of industrial applications from electronic test equipment to aircraft control panels.
