"Taste of the Town," sponsored by the Utah Symphony Guild, promises food, friends and entertainment on Tuesday, Oct. 30, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Salt Palace.
More than 25 of Utah's finest restaurants will participate in this year's fund-raiser for Utah Symphony, each preparing a few specialties for sampling. Halloween costumes are encouraged, for a seasonal emphasis. Tickets are $25, available through Smith'sTix or the symphony box office.Also on Oct. 30, the symphony will perform its Tricks or Treats concert at Symphony Hall at 7 p.m., and partygoers will receive discounts on seats for that event.
Participating restaurants include American Grill, Carousel Ice Cream Parlor, Kara's Chocolates, Maxi's, Santa Fe, Shenanigan's, The Plum, Upper Crust, L'Hermitage, Olive Garden, Diet Center Catering, Pierre Country Bakery, Bridlewood Inn, Le Fleur De Lys, Rio Grande Cafe, Cadillac Grill, Mount Olympus Water, Off Broadway Cafe, Bird's Cafe, Oceans, Impressions, Riverboat, Log Haven, L'Abeille, Ferrantelli, EIBOS, Red's Frozen Yogurt, Casa del Sol, Green Street, Old Salt Lake City Jail, Nino's, Pepsi-Cola and Olympus Hotel 13th Floor.
