Ethel Lorene Yeiter Rackets, age 88, passed away October 19, 1990 at a local care center.
She was born December 31, 1901 in South Bountiful, Utah to Charles David and Eliza Jane Parkin Yeiter. She married John Rackets October 22, 1943 in Moab, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church, where she held various positions. She loved gardening.Ethel is survived by a son, Charles Davis, of Sacramento, California; five granddaughters, 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, William Yeiter, of Salt Lake City; three sisters, Emma Waite of Riverside, California; Sarah Bowen of Mohave Valley, Arizona; and Shirley Goode of Gause, Texas. She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 24th, at 10 a.m. in the Russon Brothers Mortuary Chapel (225 So. 200 East) where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment: Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery.
