Egbert Yates Bouck, age 75, passed away October 23, 1990 at home, after a long struggle with bone cancer.

Born April 23, 1915 in Salt Lake, son of William Adam and Eva Egbert Bouck. Married Dorothy Stauffer in 1938. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Graduated from West High, worked at U.P. Railroad, arms plant, R.Ex. Agency. Dorothy and Burt were owners and operators of Blue and White Mkt. on 33rd South, U.S.S. Smelter, custodian of S.J. Ward, and Fire Chief of South Jordan. World War II Veteran. Ordinance worker at the LDS Jordan River Temple. His hobby was growing beautiful flowers, and he won many awards for them. He also loved hunting and fishing.Survived by his loving Wife; two daughters, Mrs. Buck (Bonnie) Hall, Mrs. Jack (Lorraine) Riding; three sons, Roy and his wife Joyce, Charles and his wife Cynthia, Glen and his wife Kathy; 22 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Bouck; sisters, Eva Coffman, Margaret Woodruff. Preceded in death by brother Wayne, and grandson Ryan Bouck. We love you Dad.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 26th, 1 p.m. at the South Jordan Ward, 1540 West 10400 South. Friends may call Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East and Friday 12 noon to 12:45 p.m. at the Ward. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens.
