Alta Sprague Chadburn, age 84, died Monday, October 22, 1990 at Sandy, Utah.

Born July 2, 1906 at Bunkerville, Nevada to Ithamar Dudley and Alice Leavitt Sprague. She married George Andrew Chadburn, March 5, 1927 in the St. George LDS Temple, he preceded her in death August 19, 1983. Reared and educated in Bunkerville. Mrs. Chadburn also graduated from Dixie College. She worked as a secretary for Office Price Administration in Provo, Utah. Also for Geneva Steel and Salt Lake Construction Co. She moved to Veyo, Utah in 1971 and to Riverton, Utah in 1983. An active member of the LDS Church, she served faithfully in various positions. She was an avid genealogist.Surviving family members include three daughters, Mary Lou Crump, Riverton, Utah; Mrs. Robert (Wanda) Withers, Sandy, Utah; Mrs. David (Connie) Rollins, Escondido, Calif.; also 10 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren and two sisters, Mattie Cottam, Logandale, Nevada; helen Lee, St. George Utah.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 27, 1990 at 11 a.m. at the Veyo LDS Chapel. Friends may call Friday evening from 7-8 p.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chpael, 288 West St. George Blvd. and again at the Veyo Chapel on Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment; Central City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary.
