Harold F. Greene, 78, died October 22, 1990 at his home in St. George.

Born August 20, 1912 in American Falls, Idaho, to Chester and Eunice Barber Greene. Graduated from U of U in 1935 in Electrical Engineering. Married Mary M. Woolf, June 23, 1937, in Salt Lake City; marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Veteran of World War II. He lived and worked in North Hollywood and Burbank, California, in the insurance industry for 33 years, retiring in 1978. Moved to St. George. Active member LDS Church, he had served as Bishop of the North Hollywood Second Ward and as Counselor in the Burbank stake presidency; he currently served as a sealer in the St. George LDS Temple, giving him the opportunity to marry three of his grandchildren.Survivors include his wife, Mary W. Greene, St. George; two sons and their wives, Robert Edward and Elaine Greene, Villa Park, California; David Charles and Lori Greene, Sandy; two daughters, Mrs. Willard (Nancy) Walch, Bountiful; Mrs. William (Margaret) Agnew, Arvada, Colorado; 21 grandchildren; one great-grandson; brother, Orrin Edward "Chet" Greene, Salt Lake City; sister, Mrs. Marjorie Darst, Dallas, Texas.

Funeral, Friday October 26, 1990, 11 a.m., St. George East Stake Center. Friends may call Thursday evening 7-8 p.m. at the Spillsbury Desert Rose Mortuary in St. George and Friday at the stake center, 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial St. George Cemetery.
