The Bean Life Science Museum at Brigham Young University will open its new grasslands exhibit with an open house and dedication Friday, Oct. 26.

Ted Whitmoyer, a museum representative, said the dedication at 6:30 p.m. will include remarks from the Museum Exhibit Team. A third-floor exhibit will feature color prints of the Yellowstone National Park restoration taken by the staff over the past three years.Refreshments will be served.

The new grasslands exhibit shows, among other things, how an anthill interacts with flora and fauna. The exhibit, which has taken several years to complete, also displays plants and endangered species. The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
