Verne Elwin Lougee, Jr. passed away October 26, 1990 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Born Oct. 28, 1925 to Verne Elwin and Leota Pearl McKinstry Lougee in Hartford, Connecticut. Married Genevieve Terry, January 6, 1956 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Active member of LDS Church. Taught school for 32 years in Salt Lake City. Lived in Utah since 1954, was reared and educated in New Britian, Connecticut. Served his country in the U. S. Army.Survived by wife; one son, Jakob Larry Lougee of Salt Lake; two daughters, Mrs. Dave R (Barbara) Stephenson, Vancouver, Washington; Karen Lougee, of Salt Lake; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Mahlon Lougee, Wallingford, Connecticut; Duane Lougee, College Park, Maryland; one sister, Mrs. Max (Elita) Shapiro, Lake Koneonga, New York.
Funeral Services Thursday, November 1st at 12 noon in the Monument Park L.D.S. 6th Ward, 1930 South 2100 East. Friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South and at the ward on Thursday, 10:45-11:45. Interment, Larkin Sunset Lawn.
