Two-year-old Alex Mendes displays ghost-like qualities by appearing and disappearing as a witch, a clown and Dracula watch him. In a season spiced with black hats, treats and apple cider, some pumpkins dressed in holiday wear have grown out of the pumpkin patch. Debuting on doorsteps across the valley, pumpkins have also hit the malls - in this case, at Fashion Place Mall. The silly squash, decorated by merchants, will be on view through Halloween, and customers are invited to vote for their favorites.
