Morris Lester Warpness, age 72, passed away October 29, 1990 at a Salt Lake hospital of heart failure.
He was born January 3, 1918 in Laramie, Wyoming; to Oscar A. and Bertha Hoel Warpness. He married Wilma Gifford on May 27, 1939 in Lander, Wyoming. He was a retired heavy equipment operator in Kemmerer, Wyoming for Utah Power & Light. An avid golfer, member of the LDS Church. He resided in Murray for the past eight years.Survivors: wife, Murray; sons, Morris Ray and his wife Stephanie, Murray; Norman A. and his wife Louise, Farson, Wyoming; five grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Arnold, Bud, Annie Rood and Lula Engstrom, all Riverton, Wyoming; Gunnar, Powell, Wyoming; Willie, Carson City, Nevada.
Graveside services will be held Friday, 12 noon at Mountain View Cemetery in Riverton, Wyoming. Friends may call at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 So. State on Wednesday from 7-8 p.m.
