Frances Angela Jones, age 82, died at a Nephi Hospital on October 3, 1990.
She was born November 15, 1907 in Salt Lake City; to N.A. and Jessie Day Jones. She was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church. She was a U.S. Naval Veteran of World War II. Founding member of Tintic Historical Society. Long service in social work for Utah State Government and Catholic charities.Survivors include a brother-in-law, Arthur Jensen, Boise, Idaho; God-children and many close friends.
Funeral mass will be held, Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Patrick's Catholic Church of Eureka. Friends may call at Frances Jones residence 193 So. Eagle St., Eureka on Friday from 6-7:30 p.m. and Saturday morning from 8:45-9:45 a.m. prior to the mass. Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Salt Lake City with full military rites, under the direction of Holladay Hills Funeral Home, Santaquin.
