High school marching bands from Utah, Idaho and Nevada will gather at Brigham Young University's Cougar Stadium Tuesday, Oct. 9, at 5 p.m. for the annual Rocky Mountain Band Competition.
According to Cougar Marching Band director Don Peterson, bands will be judged on conducting, percussion, winds, color guard, technical difficulty and execution. At the competition's end, the three top bands will be given awards.Tickets are $3 ($10 per family) and will be available at the gate.
