Salt Lake Mayor Palmer DePaulis and Bret Cunningham, president of the Downtown Retail Merchants, fit a bag over a parking meter on Main Street Monday. Parking meters in Salt Lake City's Central Business District will be bagged on Saturdays from Nov. 24 through Dec. 29, enabling holiday shoppers to park for free. This is the fourth year the city has offered free street parking in an arrangement with the Downtown Retail Merchants.
