A management plan for the Salt Creek Canyon is in the process of being prepared by the Uinta National Forest.
The Forest Service will accept written comments through Jan. 1.Comments should be as specific as possible and should be addressed to the U.S. Forest Service, 740 South Main, Nephi, UT 84648.
The plan is being designed to address long-term management needs for the area. It is being developed with the help of a citizen committee from Nephi and Juab County appointed earlier by the Juab County Commissioners.
