Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Lucille Blosch Peay, age 73, passed away December 19, 1990, in Salt Lake City.
Lucille was born Dec. 25, 1916, in Salt Lake City Utah, the daughter of Leo and Maria Lehmitz Blosch. She married Spiers Wilson Peay on May 18, 1940 at Garfield, Utah; later solemnized in the LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1984. Attended West High School. Active member of the LDS Church, holding various positions over the years. Member of the Old Salt Lake Fifteenth Ward. Resided in West Salt Lake City, Garfield and Magna. Enjoyed gardening and sewing, and the company of her friends at "The Club". Lucille was a kind and loving individual who was devoted to her family; she will be truly missed by all of us.Survivors include a son and a daughter, Dan W. (wife Shauna) Peay, Magna and Carolyn (husband Ned) Walker, Bennion, five grandchildren, Dan and Christina Peay and Colby, Kari and Neena Walker; four brothers, Hyrum, Albert, Rulon and Alma Blosch, Preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters, Nephi Blosch, Mary Benedict, Ruth Reese, Raymond Blosch.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 22, 1990, 11 a.m., at the Spencer Fourth Ward 8181 West 3320 So., Magna, Utah, with Bishop Max E. Sayer officiating. Friends may call Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So. 2300 East, and at the church on Saturday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
