Kenneth Hara, 80, passed away at his home Wednesday, December 26, 1990.

He was born in Los Angeles, California, November 22, 1910, to Tatsunosake and Masu Sugasawara. He married Birdie E. Brey in Grand Junction, Colorado. She preceded him in death in 1978.He is survived by three children, Mrs. Anton (Connie) Robinson, Paragonah, Utah; Mrs. Ed (Pat) Van Leeuwen, Renton, Washington; and A. Raymond Brey of Salt Lake City; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his brothers Richard, Charlie, Jack, Bob, Jim and Tack Sugasawara, six nephews and four nieces.

He and his wife, Birdie were owners and administrators of Birdie's Nursing Home for many years. A favorite past time for them was to explore the back country in and around Utah and to travel with their friends. An annual event he enjoyed was getting together with other family members and friends for the deer hunt. He made friends easily and was fun to be around.

Funeral services will be Saturday, December 29, 1990 at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, 10 a.m., where friends may call 1/2 hour prior to services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
