Our loving husband, father, stepfather, brother and grandfather, 61, died December 27, 1990, in Salt Lake City.

Born March 8, 1929, in Kaysville, Utah to William J. and Elda Perkins Wright. Married Mary Louise Best; she preceded him in death in January 1965. Married Dorothy Elizabeth Tomkiss Sept. 4, 1976; later solemnized in the Jordan River Temple. He served his country as a member of the U.S. Armed Forces. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, hunting; also attended Davis High School. He was employed by Cudahy and Utah Power & Light, working for both a total of 20 years each. He retired in March of 1990. He belonged to the Local Union 57, member of the Good Sam Club Olympic Seagulls Chapter. He was a High Priest, worked in the library, Sunday School presidency, also in the Family-to-Family Book of Mormon Program, a very devoted home teacher.He is survived by: His wife, Dorothy; sons, Craig (Cathy) Bountiful; and Kevin (Cindy), South Jordan; father in Kaysville; two stepchildren, Fred (Lyn) Farmer, West Valley City; Merrilyn (Ronald) Johnson, Sandy; sisters, Fern Bangerter, Bountiful; Faye (Larry) Barnett, Kaysville; brothers, Ray (Darlene), Layton; and Dee (Marion) Wright, Kaysville; 12 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at the Grant 2nd Ward, 711 Jeppson Ave., Monday, December 31, 1990, at 12 noon. Friends may call at the Mackay Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 South, Salt Lake City, on Sunday evening, from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior at the ward. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
