Ruth Searle Cole, age 49, passed away peacefully Dec. 27,1990, at her home in Sandy.

Born September 18, 1941, in Burley Idaho, to Elwin A. and Inez Manning Searle. She married Duane D. Cole on Oct. 30, 1959 at View, Idaho, later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS temple. She grew up in Burley, graduated from Burley High and attended Idaho State University in Pocatello for one year. An active member of the LDS Church she especially enjoyed working with the youth as a cub scout leader and in the young women's organization.Survived by her husband Duane, of Sandy, a son, Daniel W. Cole, Idaho Falls, ID; a daughter, Shannadee R (husband Michael L., Sr.) Browder, Salt Lake; three grandchildren, Naticia, Lauren and Michael, Jr. Browder; 3 brothers, Joseph E (wife Barbara), Kay L. (wife Jane) and Dean R (wife Rita) Searle; a half sister, Marlene (husband Shawn) Zollinger; and many nieces, nephews and friends who loved her dearly. Preceded in death by a brother Lee W Searle.

Funeral services will be Monday, Dec. 31, 1990, 1 pm, at the View Ward Chapel, View, Idaho, with Bishop Harold Quast officiating. Friends may call Sunday, from 6 to 8 pm, at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the church on Monday for one hour prior to the services. Interment: View Cemetery.
