David Dunn Clement, 42, died Saturday, December 29, 1990 at his home of cancer.
Born February 9, 1948 to Albert and Leona Dunn Clement in Basalt, Idaho. He married Phyllis Fullmer May 17, 1968 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He was a CPA working as a supervisory auditor for Utah Power and Light. Educated in Firth and Idaho Falls schools, graduated from Ricks College, Associates of Science in accounting. Received BS with major in accounting from University of California, Long Beach. Active in the LDS Church, served in the bishopric and as bishop of the Layton 20th Ward; served as high councilman in Layton, Utah North Stake at the time of his death.Survived by wife, Layton; one son and two daughters, Shawn, Katie, Mindy, all of Layton; also his mother, Leona Clement, Idaho Falls, Idaho; one brother and six sisters, Gary Williams, Las Vegas, Nev.; Betty Bowles, and Barbara Mathewson, both Idaho Falls, Idaho; Anita Cook, Shelly, Idaho; Lois Freeman, Fair Oaks, Calif.; Karen Howell, Pocatello, Idaho; Debra Holland, Washington State. He was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral services will be Monday, 1 p.m., at the Layton 20th Ward Chapel, 2485 North Valley View Drive, with Bishop Dee Staples officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lindquiest Layton Mortuary, 1074 North Fairfield Road, and at the church Monday, from 11:45-12:45 p.m. Interment, Lindquiest Memorial Park at Layton.
