Mary Cecile Stokes, age 84, of Marion, Utah, died December 28, 1990 in Evanston, Wyoming.
Born March 31, 1906 in Livingston, Montana, to Benjamin and Louisa Perrenteau Carney. Married Edwin G. Stokes, June 26, 1925 in Pendleton, Oregon. He died February 21, 1973. Member of the LDS Church.Survived by four sons, Jack, of Hurricane, Utah; Bill, of Kamas; Tom, of Nampa, Idaho; Dick, of Evanston, Wyoming; two daughters, Mrs. De Loy (Louise) Bisel Sr., of Woodland, Utah; Mrs. J. Marvin (Pat) Lewis, of Marion, Utah; 31 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by a daughter, Chic Stevens.
Funeral services will be held Monday, 12 noon in the Woodland Ward Chapel, where friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery. Funeral arrangements from Crandall Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to the Heart Fund.
