Marie Elizabeth Ballstaedt Teitelbaum, passed away December 29, 1990 in a local hospital following a long-term illness.

Born July 15, 1913, Decatur, Illinois, to Friederich Carl andMarie Goddaeus Ballstaedt. A longtime resident of Salt Lake City, she was an artistic Floral designer with her own shop. Always generous with her time and talents, she served as president of the Credit Women International of SLC; and on the Board of the Utah Girl's Ranch. She was an active member of the LDS Church.She is survived by her loving husband Sam, Salt Lake City; was the loving mother of son Bernard (wife Rita); and beloved grandmother of Mrs. Michele Cable (husband Scott), all from Sacramento, Calif. She is also survived by three brothers, Emmanuel H., Daniel C. and David Ballstaedt; a sister Hertha Ashby, all residing in Utah, and a sister, Elizabeth McCarty (husband Fred) of Calif. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Frederick, Joseph and Alma Ballstaedt; and a sister Edith Raby.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 2nd, at 1:00 in the Garden Heights Ward, 2220 East Fisher Lane (2935 So.) with Bishop Eugene King officiating. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 5 to 7 at the Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 So. 2300 East, and at the church on Wednesday from 12 to 12:45 pm. Interment: the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
