Pearl Harbor Day will be observed with a memorial service in Memory Grove at 10:30 a.m. Friday.

The service is sponsored by the Utah chapter of the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association and will be conducted by the Rev. John Hornok.Following the service, the group will hear from retired Maj. Gen. George P. Holm at a noon luncheon at JB's Restaurant in Crossroads Plaza.

Holm was stationed in Hawaii at the time of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and was the commanding officer of Tooele Army Depot from 1964 to 1966. He retired from military service in 1971.
